You mean ringolevio? It refers to the game, it's from the lyrics to Tiger Rose. I just liked the sound of it. Is there a book?

I hope you're right, I think we're already kinda balkanized though, i.e., prior to Tell's departure ... I think Althea laid out the three factions fairly clearly (all sixties all the time; nothing, or almost nothing, after seventy-seven; nineties are underrated). Personally, my needs are simple ... a little Jerry every day ...

Yeah on the bank where children play ring-a-levio
Come on show me somethin'
Come on show me somethin'
Come on and show me somethin' I don't know

Always liked that album and song...

Yes , there is a book written by Emmett Grogan ( who ' ran ' the Diggers ). The full title is Ringolevio : A Life Played for Keeps . It's on Amazon and probably of interest to many here . With Garcia quotes and everything

Thanks - That's wild - I had no idea. I'd like to read that. Had nothing to do with my name choice, I just liked the sound of it and figured if it was a children's game it would work out all right. Guess I didn't google well enough!
